What the treatment includes:
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning - is a simple and safe procedure for
exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus
hair (peach fuzz).
Because dermaplaning is a quick procedure with few to
no adverse effects, it has quickly gained popularity across
the world. Using a
medical grade tool and a delicate touch, it simply abrades
the
surface of the skin using light feathering strokes.
This is a great treatment for clients who are pregnant or
nursing who want a deep exfoliation, but are not allowed
to use peeling products on their skin. It is also a first
choice for clients who have excess vellus hair on the skin. This hair often causes a buildup of dirt and oils in the follicles, so removing the hair gives the patient healthier looking skin,
Although merely an old wives' tale, many patients are often concerned that the hair will grow back heavier and darker after dermaplaning. This is not the case. As long as the hair is superficial vellus hair, it will grow back at the same rate and texture as before the treatment.
Removing epidermal skin also allows products to penetrate more readily into the deeper layers. Physicians may recommend this treatment to prepare the skin for medical procedures such as laser treatments or deep chemical peels. It is also good before a mesotherapy treatment, preparing the skin to absorb the meso cocktails.
Dermaplaning is most often used on clients with rough, dry skin, superficial hyperpigmentation, mild acne scarring, or fine lines and wrinkles.
The treatment results in a more refined, smooth, "glowing" appearance.
It has been used for many years and has recently become popular as a celebrity treatment. Removing epidermal skin allows products to penetrate more readily into the deeper layers.
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a natural, minimally invasive therapy that uses a
series of tiny chemical injections to reach the mesodermal layer
of tissue under the skin. Non-invasive and highly effective,
Mesotherapy specifically targets problem areas to break up fat
deposits, reduce the appearance of cellulite and
tighten sagging skin.
Mesotherapy can work in tandem with, or as an effective
alternative to, many anti-ageing regimens and is most commonly
used to rejuvenate skin on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
It also works well at tackling fat reduction on the legs, buttocks,
abdomen and arms. On the face, it can help nourish, hydrate and
rejuvenate the skin, and stimulate
collagen and elastin production; while its cellulite-reducing
benefits promote weight loss by stimulating metabolism, local, circulation and fat breakdown.
During Treatment
Tiny 'medicinal bullets' are delivered directly into the mesoderm (middle layer of skin) that are highly specific to the condition being treated. Cocktails of mesotherapy ingredients are designed for each individual and may include vitamins, minerals, amino acids and hyaluronic acid. Skin is numbed with cream for deeper injections, to give a more comfortable treatment. Small painless bruises can occur for a few days following treatment.
On The Day of Treatment
Mesotherapy causes very little pain or discomfort. The treatment area may have minimal swelling following the treatment and some
patients notice small dots on the surface of the skin but most are able to resume normal activities on the day.
Meso Xpert
Meso Xpert - that transdermally delivers products into
the skin using LED stimulation. It enhances the
penetration of meso cocktails. The specific pulsed current
produces a cellular electroporation that open cellular
pores. It introduces the opening of the protein channels
on the cellular membranes: this phenomeon allows
substances to reach the heart of the cells. At the same
time the light emitted by the LED will activate certain
biological functions in the skin and the cells.
